13 Local Team - Assistant Coach
Cameron Lanier began playing volleyball at the age of 11 after her mom signed her up, following six years of playing softball. She joined her first club team, CHAVC, during her 13s year and started as a middle blocker, a position she played through the first half of her 17s season before transitioning to right side.
At Cedar Ridge High School, Cameron played middle and helped lead her team to the 3A State Championship title in 2021 as a junior and to an East Regional Championship in 2022 as a senior. She served as team captain both her junior and senior years. Cameron committed to play Division I volleyball at Elon University in May of her junior year of high school, where she is majoring in Sociology with minors in Criminal Justice and Public Health. She was named to the Preseason All-CAA Team for the 2025 season.
