Practices & Season

Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Season runs November 3, 2026 through May 31, 2027.
November and December are pre-season. Tournament play begins in January.
Includes a 30-minute fitness session with Coach D in the Training Room, 7:30 to 8:00 PM.

$3,800 includes all entry fees and coaching time, facility and admin fees, and coaches travel.

2026-27 Uniforms

New sublimated uniforms, warm-ups, and practice tees will be ordered this season through Volleyballer Designs.

Sizing opportunities: Sun, Aug 16 (5 to 7 PM), and Aug 3, 5, 10, and 12 (6 to 8 PM). Can't make it? Text Jocelyn to set up an appointment.

Uniform orders due Sept 15.

Good to know

Dues do not include the player's own travel and expenses to tournaments, or uniforms.
USAV and AAU membership fees are paid by the player directly in September, about $55 each, as an additional cost.
The 2026-27 planned schedule is released at tryouts and finalized by the end of September.

Coach Ariel Newman

Ariel Newman

Head Coach, 16-Ariel · Co-Owner & Director

Coach Ariel co-founded Volleyballer Training Academy and serves as our Director of Volleyball Athlete Development. With 15+ years of coaching experience and a background as a collegiate player and coach, she has developed athletes at every level of the game, from first-time beginners to college-bound competitors.

Parents consistently describe her the same way: positive, patient, and demanding in the best sense. She breaks skills down so any athlete can understand them, and she holds the standard high enough that they rise to it. For our 16-Ariel athletes, that means high-level technical coaching paired with the guidance they need as they navigate the recruiting process.
